What the UID is
It is the number that identifies your Honkai: Star Rail account on its server. Sellers need it together with the server to deliver Oneiric Shards.
Star Rail and Genshin Impact can share one HoYoverse login, but they are separate accounts with separate UIDs. Copying the Genshin UID here is the single most common Star Rail mistake.
Where to find it
-
1
Open Star Rail
Log in on the account you want the Shards on.
-
2
Check the corner of the screen
The UID is printed small in a bottom corner on most screens.
-
3
Or open your own profile
Your profile card in the in-game menu shows the UID, usually with a copy option.
-
4
Note the server
It is shown at login and on your account details. Use the game's own spelling.
The wrong UID or the wrong server sends the Shards to another account. That cannot be undone and is not refundable.
Mistakes people actually make
- Using the Genshin Impact UID because both games sit behind the same login.
- Sending the trailblazer name instead of the number.
- Leaving the server field on its default.
Check it before you pay
-
1
Copy from inside Star Rail
Not from a note, and not from another HoYoverse game.
-
2
Pick the server deliberately
Match it to what the game shows for this account.
-
3
Recheck on the order page
Both are printed there after checkout.
Common questions
Can I reuse my Genshin UID?
No. Each HoYoverse game gives the account its own UID.
Does a seller need my HoYoverse password?
No. UID and server are enough for a direct top-up.
