The difference
Microsoft 365 Family asks for your Microsoft account email. The seller activates the plan on it.
The standard Microsoft 365 listing is code-based: you get a key on the order page and redeem it yourself on Microsoft's own redemption page while signed in.
Sign in to the account you actually want the subscription on before redeeming. A redeemed key cannot be moved to another account.
