What Gems are
Gems are the paid currency in Clash of Clans. They speed up builders, buy resources and pay for the Gold Pass where that is offered.
Clash of Clans identifies a village by a Player Tag, not by a plain number. It starts with a hash and mixes letters and digits.
Before you start
- Your Player Tag, copied from the game. Copy it — letters and digits that look alike are easy to mistype.
- The listing read in full. Some Supercell top-up routes ask for an extra step from you, and the listing spells that out.
- A CubieMart account and a payment method.
Buying Gems, step by step

Find the product
Search "Clash of Clans", or open Top Up and pick it from the game list.

Pick the package and read the method
The listing states how the seller delivers and what, if anything, they need from you.

Enter your Player Tag
Paste it exactly as the game gives it, including the leading hash if the field accepts it.

Pay and check in-game
Reopen the game, check the Gem count, then confirm the order.
A wrong Player Tag points at someone else's village, and a delivered top-up cannot be reversed or refunded. Copy the tag, never type it.
How long it takes
Go by the delivery estimate on the seller's listing and the average on their store page. If the listing needed something from you, the clock only really starts once you have done it.
Common questions
Is the Player Tag the same as my clan tag?
No. The clan tag identifies the clan; the Player Tag identifies you. They look similar, which is exactly why people mix them up. Take yours from your own profile.
Do I give my Supercell ID or a login code?
Never share a login code sent to your email or phone. If a listing needs anything beyond the Player Tag it will say so before you pay, and a code that arrives in your inbox is still yours alone.
Can I top up a friend's village?
Yes, with their Player Tag. Ask them to send it as copied text.
