What VP is
VP is Valorant Points, the currency for skins, the Battle Pass and agent unlocks. It sits on your Riot account.
Riot accounts are tied to a region, and VP bought for one region does not move to another. Getting the region right matters more here than in most games.
Before you start
- Your Riot ID and tagline — the name and the part after the hash.
- Your account region, as shown on your Riot account.
- A CubieMart account and a payment method.
Buying VP, step by step

Find the product
Search "Valorant", or open Top Up and pick Valorant.

Check the region on the listing first
Listings state which region they cover. If yours is not covered, nothing else about the listing matters.

Pick the package
Packages are listed by VP amount.

Enter Riot ID, tagline and region
Three separate fields. The tagline goes in on its own, without the hash.

Pay, then check in the client
Restart the Riot client and look at the VP balance, then confirm the order.
Riot IDs are not unique on their own — the tagline is what separates two players with the same name. Get the tagline wrong and the VP goes to the other person, permanently.
How long it takes
The seller's listing shows the delivery estimate, and their store page shows their average. Region-restricted products sometimes take longer because fewer sellers cover them.
If the estimate passes with no delivery, message the seller from the order page, then use Report a problem to open a dispute.
Common questions
What exactly is the tagline?
The short code after the hash in your Riot ID. Two players can share the same name, so the tagline is what makes yours yours.
Can I use VP bought for another region?
No. VP does not transfer across regions. Check the listing's region against your account before paying.
Do I hand over my Riot login?
For a direct top-up, no — Riot ID, tagline and region are enough. If a listing works another way it will say so up front, and you should still never share a password or a code sent to you.
Why is it cheaper than buying VP in the client?
Bulk buying, and regional price differences that sellers can work with. The VP that lands is normal VP.
