Before you start
Netflix gift cards are redeemed on the web, not in the TV or mobile app. Sign in first, on the account you want the credit on.
If your Netflix is billed through an app store, a mobile operator or an ISP, the credit cannot be applied at all. Check that before you try.
On the web
-
1
Sign in at netflix.com
-
2
Open the gift card redeem page
-
3
Enter the code and select Redeem
-
4
Check your Account page for the new credit balance
Netflix draws from the credit each month until it runs out, then asks for a payment method.
What the error means
| Message | What it means | Who can fix it |
|---|---|---|
| This code has already been used | The credit is on an account. If not yours, it was used before delivery. | CubieMart — open a dispute |
| This code cannot be used in your country | The card country and your Netflix billing country differ. | Only Netflix |
| You cannot redeem a gift card on this account | Your membership is billed by a third party, so Netflix cannot hold credit for it. | Only you — change how the membership is billed |
When it is CubieMart's problem
- A code that was already redeemed, or a different amount from the listing.
- Open the order at /account/orders, choose Report a problem, attach the screenshot, then read /help/refunds.
